Adult Programs Book Forum Knitting Info. Talks Computer Classes Writers Group

 

 

K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sharp Seniors)

Join K.I.S.S. today! This is a program geared to adults 55 and older . In an effort to encourage seniors to become involved in activities that keep their minds and bodies sharp, the Scottdale Public Library has organized a series of activities throughout the year. Seniors may call or stop in the library and receive their membership bookmark which they can have stamped at various activities throughout the year at the library and throughout the community. Some of the already posted activities include:

 

Book Forum

The Scottdale Book Forum meets twice monthly. The public is welcome and encourage to join the discussion.

The first Tuesday of the month at 3:00PM.

The third Tuesday of the month at Woodcrest at 3:00PM.

 

Interested participants meet at the library Community Room to discuss current topics and current reads.

 

Performances at the Geyer Theatre

 

 

Exercise classes at the YMCA

Regional YMCA

 

Knitting

Knitting group meets on the Mondays at 2:00 in the library community room.

 

Info. Talks

 

Writers Group

Our Writer’s group meets at the library every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 Meet with other writers to improve writing skills and give  and receive feedback on local writers.
